I am always interested in connecting with the community to discuss issues important to all of us with a goal of working together to build a world class city. Once called “The Man with the Plan,” I believe that Providence can be the best run city in the country by supporting quality schools, small businesses and safer streets for every neighborhood.

In addition to being passionate about all-things-Rhode-Island, here are some other fun facts about myself:

– I live on Hope Street with my husband, Jim DeRentis and our two cats, Nigel and Mary Margaret

– I’m an avid runner and a pescatarian to offset my sweet tooth (pie anyone?)

– I’ve been to 44 of 50 states in America and I have my eye on visiting the remaining 6
