Terms and Conditions

By entering the 2023 Go Global Awards, you acknowledge that you have read and agreed to these Terms and Conditions.

Eligibility
The 2023 Go Global Awards (the “Awards”) are open to businesses of all sizes and industries, globally subject to the entry criteria. The International Trade Council, Rhode Island Commerce, and their subsidiaries are ineligible to participate unless explicitly allowed under the entry criteria.

No Entry Fees
There are absolutely no fees required to enter, participate, become a finalist, win, or receive an award in the 2023 Go Global Awards. All stages of the Awards program are free of charge for entrants.

Use of Information
By entering the Awards, you agree that your personal and company information may be shared with sponsors, award judges, and conference panelists for the purpose of evaluating your entry and facilitating the Awards event. Your information may also be shared with foreign and local government economic development agencies, and foreign and local government foreign direct investment agencies for statistical purposes and to make their offerings more relevant to businesses.

Finalists and Award Presentation
Finalists organization are required to be present in person in Rhode Island to pitch their entries during the final judging rounds, which will be held from November 6th to November 8th, 2023. The Awards will be presented at a dinner on the evening of November 8th, 2023. It is the responsibility of the finalists to arrange for their own costs of travel and accommodation for the event.

No Charge to Participate or Win
Entrants will not be charged any costs to enter the Awards or participate in any format. The Awards are sponsored and presented by Rhode Island Commerce in partnership with the International Trade Council.

Travel and Accommodation Costs
Travel and accommodation costs to/from Rhode Island are to be borne by the entrant organization. Under no circumstances will the organizers be responsible for these charges, or reimbursing the same.

Intellectual Property
By submitting an entry, participants warrant that they have the necessary rights to submit the information and materials provided, and that their submission does not infringe on the intellectual property rights of any third party.

Liability and Indemnification
Participants agree to indemnify and hold harmless the International Trade Council, Rhode Island Commerce, and any other organizations associated with the Awards from any claims, damages, or liabilities arising from their participation in the Awards, including but not limited to any infringement of intellectual property rights.

Amendments
The International Trade Council and Rhode Island Commerce reserve the right to amend these terms and conditions at any time without prior notice. Participants are encouraged to regularly review the terms and conditions for any updates or changes.
