Tate Turner is an international trade and investment professional with 20 years of experience generating new business for clients and driving corporate investment into new markets from both the private sector and public sector. He currently serves as an Investment Advisor for Invest Alberta based in San Francisco. In previous economic development roles, Tate has served as British Columbia’s Trade & Investment Representative and Capital Investment Manager for the UK Gov’t of International Trade.

Previously, Tate led cross border expansion projects for SME’s with a strong focus on US-UK business in real estate development, software development and sustainability.

Tate received his Bachelor’s Degree in Communications and Spanish from Clemson University and a Master’s Degree in Philosophy from University of the West of England.
